2013 Moulton Speedway Street Stock Rules

2013 Street Stock Rules
BODY:

1. Wheel base 112 in min. or longer.
2. Cars must weight 3500lb minimum.
3. Glass and flammables must be removed.
4. Must have a dash for looks.
5. Drive shaft loop required.
6. Fuel cell required.
7. Stock appearance front to rear 2 or 4 door station wagon ok.
8. No gutting except for roll cage.
9. Must have full cage with 3 bars or more in driver’s door.
10. Seat must be connected to roll cage. Racing seat required.
11. Bumpers front and back must be welded or bolted on.

ENGINE:

1. Any cubic inch.
2. Engine must remain stock in stock location.
3. Engines must match make of car; Ford-Ford, Chevy-Chevy, etc.
4. Engine must pull 17 lbs vacuum at 1000 RPM anytime.
5. Cast Iron exhaust No headers.
6. Any cast iron intake 2 or 4 barrel.

Transmission:

1. Automatic only.
2. Must be stock with stock working converter.

Rear End:

1. Must match make of car may be locked: Ford-Ford, Chevy-Chevy, etc.

Fuel System:

1. Gas only.
2. Electric fuel pumps must have automatic shut off.
3. Carb. No cutting chock tower off.
4. Numbers must be on carb.
5. Chevy any 2 barrel carb only. No 4 barrel. All other makes 2 or 4 barrel stock for make of car.

Wheels & Tires

1. Tires 60 series street tire. No racing tire allowed. No Hoosier, American Racer or Goodyear allowed.
2. Steel wheels 8 inch max. No beadlocks.
3. 1 inch lug nuts required.

Protest & Inspect:

1. Protest by track officials only anytime.
2. Inspection by track officials only anytime.
3. Previous week’s winner will start in rear of last heat race except on special races.
4. ANYTHING NOT COVERED IN RULES MUST HAVE APPROVAL FROM TRACK OFFICIALS.

If it doesn’t say it – you  probably can’t run it.
