2012 Moulton Speedway Super Pony  Rules  

BODY:

1. Any two or four door domestic or foreign car or truck with a 90" - 105" wheel base.
2. Must have stock fire wall, in stock location and full floor pan or chassis.
3. With no more than a 10" spoiler, no jig or tube cars will be allowed.
4. May run sheet metal body.
5. After market nose piece and tail pieces are allowed.
   
   ROLL CAGE:
6. Full four point roll cage is required.
7. All cages must meet track official approval.
8. Suspension, no tube chassis or jig frames.
9. Damaged sections of the chassis may be replaced with tubing in stock location.
10. Caster and camber plates allowed.
11. Screw jacks allowed.
12. Changes in pinion allowed.
13. All suspension components, springs, shocks, sway bars mounted in stock location. Racing springs and shocks allowed.
14. One shock allowed per wheel.
15. No coil over shocks unless from factory.
    
    WEIGHT:
16. 1900lb minimum.
17. Car must weigh one pound per cc.
18. Engine displacement must be clearly posted on the hood.
19. All weight must be attached with at least 1/2" bolt and be painted white with the proper car number on it.
20. If you run a stock flywheel you can have a 50lb break (must be able to prove).
    
    TIRES AND WHEELS:
21. Any 10" steel wheel.
22. Must be steel. Bead locks allowed.
23. American racer and hoosier are allowed.
24. Right rear tire must be a 44 or harder.
    
    ENGINE:
25. Any four cylinder engine in stock location.
26. No after-market or racing blocks.
27. No turbo. No dry sump. Any flat top piston.
28. Toyota 3tc may have a dome.
29. Any steel rod.
30. Stock crank shaft with stock stroke 2" pin minimum.
31. Must run a distributor with any ignition box.
32. Headers allowed.
33. Any cc but must weight 1 pound per cc with a 1900 pound minimum.
34. No rotary engines.
    
    HEAD:
35. Any steel head.
36. No aluminum heads on a ford 2000 or 2300 based engine including svo heads.
37. Roller heads are allowed with the following weight restrictions: up to 2350cc must add 100lb, 2351-2550cc must add 125lb and 2551cc and up must add 150lb.
38. No dual camshafts.
39. Port and polish allowed.
    
    FUEL SYSTEM:
40. Box stock holly 4412 500cfm max.
41. Check with go no go.
42. Stock fuel injection allowed.
    
    FUEL:
43. Fuel cell required.
44. Racing fuel only, no alcohol.
45. Electric fuel pump must have a safety shut-off.
    
    SAFETY:
46. All drivers must wear a fire suite and all cars must have a window net and fire extinguisher within reach of the driver.
